Time Lapse Video

This time lapse video shows the construction for building a berm, or a raised area of land. There will be a variety of terrain in the park created by these berms. Some of the sculptures will sit at a higher elevation on top of the berms, and some will be lower in a sort of valley. The point of varying the land elevation in the park is to give each piece it’s own “room” so that each sculpture can be viewed individually, free of distraction, without any other piece in sight.

Groundbreaking Ceremony – 2014

Tuesday, November 18th, 2014 – Groundbreaking Ceremony: Sculpture Fields at Montague Park is currently breaking  ground on the Southeast’s newest attraction! A 33-acre monumental sculpture park featuring some of most renowned international sculpture artists. The park will be open from dawn until dusk daily with free admission to all who attend. Sculpture Fields at Montague Park will be dog, kite, and yoga friendly, offering sprawling acres of beautifully landscaped walking paths, free access to a major cultural destination, and educational programs.
