Looming on the horizon, a 330-ton crane stood still, its cables poised to hoist a 65-ton structure from deep within the earth to an upright position. Sculpture Fields received some major verbal support from Bob Doak, the President and CEO of the Chattanooga Convention & Visitors Bureau when he said “We’re very excited about this new 33-acre park being added to the Main Street corridor. Sculpture parks are a great way to get people outdoors and connecting with art. Adding a new cultural attraction complements what our family-friendly community already offers and it gives visitors one more reason to keep coming back to our city.”
